Although the hotel is under renovation I loved our room and the frint desk staff was super nice and tried to be as accommodating as possible.

It was not great. I've stayed at this hotel in the past. It's close to Alfred and convenient for a visit. It was under construction and very dusty. All understandable, yet next to the breakfast area where food is prepared? yuck. My room was clean but smelled musty. There are not many choices in the area.

The only complaint was that the pillows were the thickest and hardest pillows I have ever seen. I have a bad neck and ended up using a towel as a pillow.

Very friendly and eager to please staff. Ongoing renovations are taking too long. Renovations should include tile, wood, or wood-like flooring, rather than the (new) carpeting in place. Definitely a pleasant place to stay, at reasonable pricing.

The room was very nice but the hotel was very loud walls thin. Also when I booked room it said king size bed but all they have ate queens. But it was a reasonable priced hotel for our needs.
