Check in was super quick, room was clean, everything worked, and the bed was comfy. Didn't experience any issues, and it was very quiet outside. Staff was friendly during check in and check out.

Surprisingly quiet considering closeness to freeway and vehicles right outside the door. Unfortunately the Irving lights from behind were shining in through the bathroom window at night and then the sun in the morning. Great friendly staff, Amanda checked us in. There was another lady in the morning shift when I grabbed my mom’s coffee. Spacious and well organized.

We stayed at The Elmwood only very briefly, en route to Cape Breton, but were very pleased with the cleanliness and comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. Due to traffic delays we arrived well after their usual office hours (7a-7p) but management had arranged to have a clerk on the desk to greet us -- we very much appreciated that above-and-beyond service.
