Weather was cool. so we turned off the A/C. Refrigerator was off when we arrived, and freezer compartment full of water, but we called Marina Bay and a man came and emptied the water. We turned the refrigerator thermostat back on. Room was clean and comfortable. Location was convenient for sightseeing in New London, Groton, and Mystic.

A nice home base near Niantic / East Lyme

Lovely little cottage, close to Niantic and the boardwalk. Host was responsive when one of us was back without the key. Would stay again!

Camp Norma, Cottage 22 is a stone 2 BR. cottage sitting atop with a viewof the Niantic River/Bay in the middle distance. The property was lovely and management attentive, though requested clean towels did not arrive. Other (mild) cons:, hot water comes from the cottage across the street and takes a long time to arrive. the Kitchen was well equipped but had no toaster. No biggie, as he oven broiler toasts bread one side at a time.

Cleanliness, comfort, all you need is available. We rented cottage 5 and 6, 2 bedrooms. They have only one A/C in cottage 6. Fans for living and other bedroom, but during our stay we didn’t need more A/C. We enjoyed the clubhouse. Walked the boardwalk. Cottage 5 has A/c in living but we didn’t use it. We are family of 4 adults.

The room was very clean and pretty decorations . Was safe and the area was good. The bad things was: there’s no microwave in the room, no garbage bags replacements, no staff person at the facilities to ask questions or get replacements. No bbq available in the apartment yard. Additional to that we have a fun time.

We loved the location

The bed was memory foam. Not my preference but still comfortable. Plenty of food options very nearby. You also have a full kitchen so you can pick up something at the grocery store to prepare your self.

We absolutely loved our visit to Marina Bay Cottages! The space was exactly as it was in the pictures. The staff was quick to respond to our messages if we needed anything. Things we loved: - The quiet - Proximity to stores in case we needed anything - Proximity to the Niantic Boardwalk - The pass to Waterford Beach that was included in our stay Everything was amazing! Keep in mind if you plan to cook to bring your own seasonings!

Overall good but a few disappointments.

We thought from the photo that we were getting a private cabin, but we had a side by side unit not pictured. The unit we had was comfortable but we did hear the neighbors a lot. The wifi service was not fast at all and the smart TV features did not work because the remote did not work. We did get to use basic cable, but we booked thinking we had a smart TV. Th location was good and easy to access.

The cabins were quaint but updated tastefully. All higher end hotel like linens, towels, shampoos etc. Very close driving to a small beach, walking boardwalk, and many restaurants. Only reason i did not give it full 5 stars in all categories because it was really hot and unit had only 1 small ac. If i had asked however, they would have moved us, or given us another unit. Lively small getaway, perfect

What a hidden gem ! The staff was personable and kind . The cottage was picturesque and the view was spectacular. Charming and peaceful all in a one . Would definitely recommend to anyone .
