"Problems with dogs "
The breakfast could have been served with a bit more hospitality and choice although the behavior of the owner was polite and professional. We were not too happy as the owner left her dogs free to roam in the living area at night in spite of telling us that they will not be free to come to the common living area in the night. So as I stepped out of my room to go the car, one of the dogs rushed out at me and I bolted back to our room just in time to slam the door. When informed about the incident next morning, she apologized but tried to brush off the incident as only one of the three dogs was loose and apparently it wanted to stay close to one of her mother's room which was next to us. She was a hunter with a wonderful collection of stuffed animal they hunted and I was not sure if the dig which charged at me was a hunting dog or not. So I was quite alarmed. This incident of letting the dog loose was unacceptable code of conduct on her part and would be nice if Expedia contacted the management so such incident could be avoided in the future. .

"Beautiful"
Would have loved to have spent more time here. The only downside was the steep steps up to the bedroom. We had to leave the suitcases downstairs.

"Good basic hotel"
This is a great basic place for lodging. The room was clean and comfortable. Looking at the complaints about this place, most are related to the service in the bar or restaurant. We didn't go to either and we didn't have any issues checking in. I'd definitely recommend this place for a basic, quick place to crash while on your Alaskan adventure.

"Nice hotel with a beautiful view. "
We stayed there for the first time. Saw the hotel in the beautiful area. We stayed in room 1111 with view to the parking lot. But around the clean hotel area you have the beautiful view to the lake and the mountains. And also the wonderful view from the breakfast room. We had a clean room, friendly staff. We were happy we could check in before the official check in time. If we ever come back to this area, we want to stay again at this hotel.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Wasilla hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
