The hotel is a gem in the midst of the embassy district along Connecticuit Avenue. The rooms are of modest size but the price was a true bargain. We had our dog and, not only was there no pet fee, our dog was provided with a bag of peanut butter dog treats. The staff was most helpful and condial. We recommend the Normandy without reservation.

Beds were comfy and bathrooms were clean. The breakfast was not appealing to me, with so many great food options nearby. I loved the wine and cheese hour. The dining space was open around the clock so if you brought your own food or needed a microwave it was readily available. The dining area is also nice to lounge in during off-peak hours.

Such a great find at a GREAT price. Very nice property. Very cool double doors overlooking the courtyard. Very comfortable bed. Very clean room. Awesome bathroom. We ABSOLUTELY will stay here again. The only thing I did not like was the lack of parking, so we paid $60 to valet park in their garage. I guess thats the big city, though. We loved our stay here.
