For the property to consider themselves Luxury, I believe they lack details. The pull out couch was dirty/stain like it has never been cleaned. The dishwasher was not properly in its place and the microwave had missing pieces. The worst part about the hotel is that the AC did not go under 68. It seems like they have it controlled. It was cooler outside in the hallways then it was in the suite. I'm glad that the days I stayed the weather wasn't above 80 outside. I can only imagine in the summer days when it is hot. The suite must be a sauna unless they allowed the thermostat to go lower than 68. For the price you pay, I don't think the conditions are worth it. The location of the hotel is walkable to many things. That is a plus this hotel has. If you are looking for a luxury suite/hotel i will not recommend.

Spacious and comfy

It was super spacious and looked exactly as pictured. The pull out bed was comfortable as well. Check in/out was smooth and the price was great. It was around many restaurants and shops, would definitely recommend if you are taking family because of the full sized kitchen and fridge.

Overall we liked the Eldon and found it to be a very good value for the money. It was clean, spacious, and perfectly located next to the Convention Center. We were disappointed that the WIFI did not consistently work, so we needed to use our cellular hotspot to get work done from our laptops. The bed was comfortable, but for the size of the room, it should have been a king-size instead of queen-size. The couch was a little worn and sagging, but sufficed. The kitchen had all the appliance and basic dishes we needed for our week stay. It did not have a cork screw, though, so that was very disappointing. Overall, I would recommend the Eldon and stay here again.

Great location, rooms nice but dated. Staff was non existent most of the time. Worst WiFi in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in, don’t go if you need anything other than email. My ac fan ran the entire time even when off, asked twice for help, no one came.

Love the walking distance to the Walter E. Washington Convention center and the Metro. Would have liked a TV in the bedroom but when I got used to it I kind of liked that there wasn’t.

Internet was nonexistent and front desk when staffed couldn’t help. A/c was good but loud. Street noise was surprising given 7 th floor room. Overall facilities were reasonable, convenient to convention center and priced reasonably and fairly.

Great place would stay again

This was a great find. Close enough to walk most places we went. We only stayed one night so didn't use the kitchen, but loved that it was there and would definitely stay here again for a longer trip some day. Separate bedroom was great. Cons - the coffee table was really heavy to move to set up the sofa bed. The sofa bed mattress seemed pretty thin, but the kids didn't mind it.

The Hotel is great. The only challange was finding parking nearby and at a good value which I define at less then $50 @ day. This was a challenge because my guests and I had 3 cars. I still rate it as 5 stars. Perhaps the hotel could work out a package deal with a nearby parking garage, like many places do in Manhattan.
