The property has issues with accessing the guest room. The front desk had to keep opening up the door everytime we would leave the room. The the plumbing system was broken. The toilet overflowed. The place was a mess I want my money refunded. I will never stay at that location again. The service is horrible.

It seems this hotel is currently undergoing some room renovations as there were boxes of new furniture and old furniture being disposed of. This did not impact our stay and was neatly stacked out of the way of major walkways. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great if you are going to an event at Gaylord or looking to spend some time in National Harbor. The complimentary breakfast had a good variety of options that also rotated each day (eggs, at least one breakfast meat, waffle makers, other assorted breakfast foods). My only complaint was the state of the pool. I specifically booked a hotel with a pool which the hotel does have but it was very dirty with a very weird looking material floating along the bottom. We also noticed it didn’t seem chlorinated and was just overall unsanitary. Disappointing but the rest of the stay was great and comfortable so I can’t complain too much.

Renovations being done on 9th floor. Why the hell was I given a room adjacent to a room being renovated? 7:30 am pounding, drilling, banging, … on the wall adjacent to our headboard! 😠😠😠 I would have been still been mad if I was on the floor above or below, but to be NEXT DOOR!!! Absolutely unexceptionable! I would like a refund!

room was comfortable and the location was great. Had some issues with hotels. Stay with a dog barking before 6 AM. I went to tell staff about it and they said there was no dog in that room. Let them know. I had a recording of it issues the next day with the dog ended up moving rooms and eventually ended up, leaving hotel early even though it was prepaid very disappointed in staff's response.

The bed was like a rock. But what made this a horrible stay was the staff. In the middle of the night I was woken up by knocking at the door. Before I could get there to see who it was, the door unlocked and started to open. Thankfully I had the security latch set. Turns out it was a maintenance worker bringing pillows and sheets which we did not order. They were for another room. It was a total invasion of my privacy and traumatized my daughter who couldn't sleep the rest of the stay. The hotel apologized, admitted it was "incredibly unsettling" and offered me a $20 credit to somehow make up for it.

Staffand facilities were excellent. Guests were very noisy at night. Some argueing in the hallway and slamming doors. It was a bit scary and I questioned whether security should be called on visitors creating a disturbance at night.

I have stayed several times at this hotel for business and overall the hotel provides a solid alterative to the nearby options, it is nice, clean, and you can't go wrong with a free hot breakfast. I will very likely stay there again next time I travel to the area. However, this time around I noticed the state of the hotel has dipped over the past three years. 1of 2 Elevators have been down the past two years I stayed there, and it always seems like the hotel is under noticeable maintenance. Room number signs lying in the hallway, mirror frames separating in the room.
