This property is gorgeous. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. The rooftop bar has a fantastic view of the bridge. Walking distance from nationals stadium.

Great if you can find a place to park.

The hotel itself is beautiful, staff was very friendly and helpful. The parking situation, however, is atrocious. Valet is the ONLY option, and at $65 (after taxes) a night? Not worth it. I couldn’t find a parking garage so unfortunately I had no other choice. They are indeed money hungry, with outrageous prices for breakfast and their little mini mart options. The room I was in had a view of the Washington Monument and a little bit of Nationals Park. The building directly outside my window had extremely bright lights that stayed on all night, which the blinds in the room do not filter out. Other than that, most everything was great. The bathroom is sleek, with Bluetooth and a nightlight built into the mirror.

The hotel staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Everything was clean and well maintained. Food downstairs was fabulous, great selection of grab and go items too. Convenient to Nationals Park and metro.

Housekeeping kept the room clean and replenished towels, clothes, coffee, etc. Beds were made daily. For a non-smoking hotel-the lobby and room stunk of marijuana. Lobby is from valet driver going out and sitting in a white vehicle in front of the hotel and once done he would come back in the lobby. Every single time we were in the lobby/sidewalk. This is not someone who should be responsible for operating a vehicle. Our mini refrigerator temperature was turned all the way down so it was unusable until the morning after we arrived. They did compensate by discounting our valet parking. Weekends the streets and lobby were packed with parties. Lobby had a security guard/law enforcement present. The next morning there was vomit and broken bottles on the sidewalk.

They rent the roof out to entertainment companies and individuals who aren’t guests are able to get off at any floor by riding the elevator with guests. Both nights non guests were yelling down the hallways late into the evening. Hotel security and police were called to solve the problem after the suspects were confronted about their behavior and my friend was threatened. Other than this problem, the hotel was clean and staff was extremely helpful and pleasant.

Unfortunately was not able to use this hotel when we arrived there was not parking. There was a soccer game and the hotel was already at capacity at valet; as they had valet parked cars that were not hotel guests. The hotel did cancel my stay at no charge due to not being able to park.
