"Great location. Amazing views of Corfe Castle"
We booked only a few days before and came across Kingston Courtyard by chance. Very close to Corfe Castle and less than 10 mins to Swanage. Lovely rural retreat. The double and twin rooms with adjoining bathroom were perfect for our family of four. Staff were very helpful and the full English breakfast was lovely. We will go back :-)

Bradle Farmhouse

Bradle, Wareham - Map
"Bradle Farmhouse was an outstanding B&B location"
We stayed at the farmhouse for 5 nights. We were greeted warmly by Gillian when we arrived and enjoyed a welcoming hot drink and a portion of cake while chatting to Gillian and her husband John who ran the working farm. The bedroom in which we had chosen to stay was at the front of the house and we enjoyed beautiful views towards the Purbeck Hills in the distance. Although it was a working farm we were never disturbed by machinery, animals or essential work going on around the farm which covered in excess of 2000 acres. However, it was delightful to see the tractors heading out towards the fields. Every morning Gillian welcomed us to breakfast and the dining room for the guests was equipped with a variety attractive breakfast foods sufficient to satisfy any taste. For our part we enjoyed a hearty cooked breakfast every morning, cooked by Gillian from produce reared on the farm whether it be bacon, eggs, sausages etc. and she always had time to talk to us and other guests and to answer our questions about the surrounding area, advising us about interesting and historic places to visit (especially Corfe Castle - only 3 miles away). We felt privileged to share Gillian and John's home in such beautiful and restful surroundings and we were made to feel at home at all times. It was an outstanding experience which we shall always remember and we will certainly return for another holiday when we can.

The Scott Arms - Inn - Wareham Hotels

The Scott Arms - Inn

The Scott Arms, Wareham - Map
"It's a 'Pub'"
The Scott Arms is a pub. If you expect the Holiday Inn's conceptual version, go stay at one. The Scott Arms is a pub. It's everything I hoped it would be: friendly welcoming staff, a place full of character and natural charm from a bygone, relaxed age, 'proper', tasty, local food, ciders, brandies & ales... And guess what, there's the 'Jerkshak' out back. 29 November isn't really barbecue season, but I must come back with my wife when it is the season because the 'Jerkshak' looks the real deal. If the Jerkshak chicken & sweet potato fries 'live' is anything like the plateful I had with a pint of local ale in the bar, then they will be good indeed. My room was tastefully created... the wood and basket-woven chairs surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom was another room entirely, yet behind the same front door, which enhanced the genuine homeliness of the place. I fell asleep reading. If you're used to traffic noise, you might not notice the two or three passing vehicles in the early morning, but I'm not, living in a rural village cul-de-sac, so I did. But I also had one of the windows open! Cereals, porridge, fruit juice, coffee or tea all come with the menu. I didn't get past the full English, so for someone who rarely eats all day, I managed most of my sausage, black pudding, bacon, mushroom, tomato and fried egg, with more coffee and toast: the butter, as everything, just delicious. So, yes, the Scott Arms is a pub and I like it... Oh, did I mention the view?

The Priory Hotel - Wareham Hotels

The Priory Hotel

Church Green Wareham 1, Wareham - Map
"Excellent position,beautiful gardens."
Although the hotel was a lovely old style hotel and our room was great however the bathroom was impossibly small and impracticable. The basin was difficult to use as the glass shelf was so close above. The tea making facilities were also dangerous, having to put the kettle on the floor, to reach the plug, and the other items on the window cill. Not enough consideration in our opinion.

"Gluten Free? Not a problem !"
An excellent 2 days visiting Monkey World, Tank Museum and Poole all of which are on the doorstep. My wife, who is Gluten free, was thrilled to find that unlike 99% of eateries, the Royal Oak did not find it impossible to offer a reasonable and varied menu of Gluten Free choices. Indeed it was nice to know we would not have to spend the best part of each day looking for somewhere to go for an evening meal. Both evening meals and breakfasts were excellent and hot nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff. For the price banding of the hotel you would be hard to find somewhere that ticks as many boxes as this did for me. The only minus point for me was the weather at this time of year meant no sitting outside with a drink after a meal. Maybe a few comfy seats in the bar !

Wareham is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Wareham, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Wareham hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
