Nice, Cheap & Cheerful

Nice Budget Hotel with a Pool and free parking. Room was clean and comfortable enough. Perfectly fine for our 1 night stay and we would definitely stay again.

The staff ar this hotel are super friendly & welcoming. There is plenty of parking. Its within walking distance to the town centre. The facilities are ok, obviously its in need of some updating but sheets clean & beds comfortable. It relation to what i paid & to the time I stayed, it was value for money. Certainly less than other hotels close by.

Mold in the bathroom other guests hair in bathroom toilet hardly works rusty fittings ancient shower pole. Lamps in room did not all work . tv did not work Swimming pool had rusty radiators and looks terrible

I had a top floor family room, The decor and bedding was extremely tired, the bathroom door was a sliding door, unfortunately it wasn’t on a runner,it was just sat on the tiled floor, I had to physically lift it up to shut and open the door, add to that , it fell on my 14 year old grandson when he tried to shut it, says it all , luckily he’s a strong boy, God forbid if it had happened to a smaller child. Thankfully we spent only one night here , before staying at another hotel. However I

You could walk to the beach in 15 minutes shopping centre close byee but the hotel room where to noisy you could hear everything what was going on i would not recommend this hotel to any one

My opinion 1) Need refrigerator mini in the room. 2) Repair the noise on the floor. 3) the spare to take a shower it's very small for me not good. 4) the other room noise a lot 5) all that way is good and possible without changing the prices.

Awful

I will be requesting a partial refund, while the state of the room was tired and dirty, the en suite was disgustingly filthy and falling apart. The tap was not fixed to the basin, the towel rail had pieces missing and was barely hanging on the wall. Broken, cracked and missing wall and floor tiles, the bath panel was broken and hanging out of the side of the bath. There were hairs everywhere. It was also from the 80’s and it showed, probably never been cleaned since then! The bedroom door was clearly not up to fire regulations and clearly not BM TRADA certified, we wanted a cup of tea in the morning but, when I looked in the kettle there was something growing in it. The breakfast service was terrible with no information or guidance given except for a list of foods on a menu, we had no idea what was included or not and not offering condiments. There was a games building (which we were not told about) but, it was locked, a number of guests tried to open the door only to find it locked, it should be unlocked at a regular time every day, it’s not rocket science. Maybe they should spend less on coaches and more on cleanliness. It goes to show what a useless inspectorate system we have if this place can be trading even when it is putting guests lives at risk. So many seaside hotels are like this I’m embarrassed to be British. Hotels.com should be ashamed of themselves but, like the Hotel owners they won’t be because they just care about money . This hotel should be closed down.

We really enjoyed our stay, the room has quite dated, but it was clean and well looked after. The safe were very nice and we all enjoyed the swimming pool and games room.
