Hi when I got to the property all looked good ,but when we got to the room I hated it ,broken tiles in the bathroom ,mold and dirt,,room was small,soon as I sat on the bed it fell apart,base and mattress didn't go together,needed a good clean ,carpets looked like it hadn't been hoovered,gutted couldn't wait to leave

Great hotel, super friendly staff, lovely swimming pool. Awesome breakfast served by fantastic waitresses who were lovely. Good sized room and excellent shower, floor a little creaky and bed slightly hard but to be expected in a property of this age. No evening meals unfortunately but plenty of local food options nearby. A little bit of noise in the morning from the coaches running their engines first thing, not excessive. Overall very happy with our stay at Laguna, nice old fashioned style hotel with plenty of character and good value

I came down on my own, a 61 years old Yorkshire man. The Hotel has nice grounds, great for parking on my Wednesday , Thursday and Friday days. Sat and Sunday on the road. I only slept there , I onkg wanted a bed, Tv in room and a shower no food. My room was ok , old fashioned, dated.. Plug sockets old. I was given a room with double bed, mattress not for me. Im 16 stone and 6 ft 4. Very claustrophobic in the shower no room at all , so that wasnt good. Also the toilet area needed revamping, shower, sink , toilet itself. But as I said for the price and for my needs it was fine. Id go back if on my own but wouldn’t takevmy partner.

I really liked the hotel and the staff - however, the room was very small and dated and I feel that charging £65 for that is absolutely ridiculous. It should have been more like £30 at the very most and had it been the review would be much better. For £65 I expect a lot lot more. The UK must stop overpricing everything as £65 in other European countries would have given me so much more. The place was clean and the TV didn’t work.

Loved hotel

Nice and clean hotel. Bedroom spacious, beds very comfortable and clean as was the bathroom. Excellent breakfast freshly cooked. Staff very friendly and always at hand if you needed anything. Not too far out of town and a delightful walk through a wooded park into Bournemouth town where there is an excellent bus service. We travelled from Manchester on the train so it wasnt a problem getting about without a car. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overnight stay

Perfect location for a pleasant walk through Bournemouth gardens to town and sea front. Amble free parking. Only downside, take toiletries we were only given one very small bar of soap for two of us and first time that's ever happened and I'd not checked. Tea /coffee etc plenty in the room. For the price and location all very good.

Can clearly hear the person in the next room and bathroom. Had stomping all night from the floor above. Also was a bit dissatisfied as there was no shower in bathrooms. It’s just the bath tub.

Good hotel and nice pool

A bit dated but highly acceptable and useable. We had a quad family room just as we needed. Nothing more nothing less. The pool was a nice touch althpugh changing facilities a little quirky and very tight.
