Front desk staff very nice but that where it ends. Door to room had large gaps around frame so light came thru door. Headboard on bed was deteriorated & fabric pilling. Top sheet had small hole. Bath tub stained or dirty, not sure as did not take shower. Bathroom door deteriorated & paint on wall peeling. Room appeared clean but condition very poor. Certainly not 4 star.

Property is old, could use a face lift. Decor in room dated and in disarray. But found room to be very clean and comfortable. Persons with disabilities need to request lower level rooms, as there is no elevator, just outside stairs. But would stay again.

Outdated and just whitewashed. Quiet hours start at 10:00pm but the hotel was doing plumbing maintenance from 9:30pm - 12:30am. Our toilet didn’t flush. The shower didn’t drain and the landline phone didn’t work. The breakfast was sugary children’s cereal, fruit wrapped in plastic and watered down coffee.

Empty lots behind the hotel gave it a sketchy feel although nothing occurred Went to breakfast at 8:30 and there was little left. They did not replenish. No yohgurt, no fruit, no eggs, no waffles, no pastries except packaged muffins. Only bread and cereal

My wife and I reserved a two night stay on February 15/17th 2025. Upon arriving they booked us into a smoking room, 126. The room had a stench of dirty ashtray and smoke. We asked front desk clerk to please move us into a non-smoking room which they did. The next room 112, had filthy carpets and a plumbing leak around the sink area. The carpet area around the sink was soaked with water. The carpet was so dirty throughout the room that our feet became soiled with a dark charcoal like stain. In addition, the soap and conditioner dispensers in the shower area were empty. My wife and I checked out after the first night with no intention on coming back for the second night stay. We asked the front desk to please refund our money for the second night stay. They said we’d have to take that up with Expedia. We contacted Expedia and they told us they would have to contact the hotel Howard Johnsons and ask for a refund for the second night. After spending nearly an hour and a half of dialogue with Expedia, they said we would have to wait for Howard Johnson‘s final decision. Today we received word from Howard Johnson’s, that they refused to refund our money. Words cannot express my disappointment with this hotel chain and Expedia. I would rather sleep in my car, then subject my family to the conditions which we found in that hotel near Vero Beach along the I-95 corridor.

The front desk worker was very slow. He wanted a 60.00 cash deposit that was not listed when I booked the room. He then decided to charge my credit card instead. He did not know what he was doing. The room has mold in the shower and the desk chair has only 3 wheels. The head board of the bed is plastic and peeling. Sone of the lamps dont work. The breakfast area looks dirty. I am afraid to eat there in the morning. I am glad we only have to stay one night. I took pictures of this room to send to a corporate office. It is hard to believe that Wyndham would allow this to happen.

Hair dryer was broken and non-functional, 2 power sockets by the window didn't work, bathroom door was poorly aligned and was hard to shut and open, no Usb charging option, noisy trucks around the hotel, no ceiling light but ceiling light switch is by the door, non-functional. Overall - embarrassing condition.

Unfortunately we elected to not check in upon arrival due to hotel conditions. Facility was not kept up and the photos advertised online did not represent the physical building. Also the 60.00 cash only deposit for incidentals was a red flag. While they did offer to take my credit card as a hold, making a copy of that and ID to sit at the front desk was not a comfortable feeling. Ultimately, all these uneasy feelings lead me to follow my gut and "check out". After reading additional reviews on google, i definitely made the best decision. I did not enter the room itself so i cannot speak on the room.
