The gym and pool were in rough condition. Huge stain on the comforter. The hotel did not take responsibility. Says it was third party who they contract for housekeeping. Could not offer a refund because it was booked through Expedia.

Room 'sleeps 3'?? Couch wasn't a hide-a-bed, so where is person #3 sleeping? Uncomfortable sleep on a matress on the floor was an upgrade from the ancient rust cot provided. What a greatly over-priced disappointment.

Hotel was ok but the room we had was tired compared to the photos and the pipework rumbled constantly. The bath faucet was loose and the shower sprayed horizontally. Two of four lifts were out the full four days of our stay too so getting up and downstairs was time consuming. On the plus side Beyond Coffee provided a nice coffee and pastry breakfast and there was a supermarket a block away. All the staff were friendly and it was only a 10 min walk to Robson St and the 44 bus stopped right outside the hotel.

Great spot! But… a/c is only in the living room, NOT in the bedroom. Shower and plumbing seem old, and water pressure was low in the shower (most of the water still came out the faucet rather than the shower head). Otherwise, lovely place with a stunning view.

Perfected situated and very comfortable hotel. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the decor-it would be refreshed. Other than that I'm very happy with the stay. Super convenient to Robson Street and good restaurants. Comfy beds. Friendly staff.

Many elevators and washing machine broken the whole time, long waits. Unfortunately the area is also right next to a hospital with a lot of suffering from addiction and homelessness. It’s proximate to everything and we didn’t feel unsafe, but just something to keep in mind if you’re not used to it. The staff were lovely, but I can’t recommend the hotel.

Overall it was good. Slow elevators. Only 2 out of 4 are running at a time. Front desk clerk would not give me $3.00 and put it on my tab for the washer/dryer at 11pm because the machines were only coin operated. He told me to walk to gas station 3 blocks down. I did not like his attitude towards the situation it was rude.

Great hotel! Our suite was very clean and the hotel common spaces were very well kept also. The front desk staff were super helpful with directions, transportation and activity suggestions. 15 min walk to the beach. There was a grocery store nearby and a park (which was handy because we were traveling with children). Onsite coffee shop was great. My only dislikes were: it is located next to a hospital and I did find there to be extra siren noise. And the pool is in the basement. The restaurant onsite was fabulous! Food was delicious and the staff were incredible. Matteo, the manager, Suzanne and Nabi all took very good care of my family while we were there. Will definitely stay here again.
