Great hotel, TERRIBLE bath/shower. Dangerous to get in and out of bath - cracked my shins twice getting in and out as bath was quite slippery. Shower "screen" doesn't provide enough coverage so floor was always slippery too. The shower bar was loose on the wall and the fittings (soap dish, etc) were always jabbing me in the back. Extraction fan in ceiling made a noise, but there was little extraction of steam going on. Finally the shower was very low, but as a tall person I'm used to that - everyone hires a short plumber... :) Rest of the bathroom was fine, but the shower was extremely poor. I'd ditch the bath entirely and make it a shower nook.

As older people we found it not so user friendly when it comes to luggage, in this case we took only what we needed and left our luggage in the car, the room was virtually at the other end of the property. The property itself was good, staff very helpful and polite.

The property is well located near the Harbour for whale watching cruises and within walking distance to a few dining options. I had booked knowing i couldn't walk far, so on-site dining was great however, after booking and confirming i realised the cafe was closed. Upon arrival mentioned this as was directed to another option. At no point did someone say breakfast was still available or at what cost. I found this out by over hearing someone mention it to a new customer.

Stay was good. Room was typical motel style. Air conditioning was locked on dry mode which was not ideal as was either too hot or too cold. On site restaurant was ‘under renovation’ so had to go out to eat. Overall it was a good stay for the money charged.

What a poor hotel. Majority of facilities not available due to storm damage that occurred 5 months previous. Paid for a breakfast that was no more than a simple pop up. I can safely say the worst ive had in 40 years of travel. The reception staff were poor, internet not working and the air con was locked on cold. Absolutely disgraceful. Ramada should be ashamed.

Air-conditioner locked to cold setting. Unable to heat room efficiently. Had to ask for extra blanking. Bed mattress was dreadful massive lump in the middle. Felt like sliding down.

We thought the overall hotel was fine. Images of rooms are not how they look in real life. Clean room but over whelming smell of cleaning product. No wifi passwords and in room phone didnt work so had to go back downstairs and ask for wifi password. You can hear a lot including toilets flushing next door. Otherwise generally friendly team

The accommodation provided was NOT what seen at the time of booking via Wotif! In fact the room advertised via Wotif does not even exist on the actual Ramada website. Even worse.. it did not become evident until after booking via Wotif and not receiving booking confirmation from to motel that we found that the restaurant and pool are not able to be accessed due to construction work! Overall-a very disappointing experience and not worth the money being asked. Yes the room was clean and bed okay but that’s the extent of the better points for what we expected.
