Arrived with no one to check us is, an elderly couple before us was on the phone for 45 minutes trying to get their room number and code. When we got to our room, the toilet was dirty, the door frame and door was black from finger prints. Had problems with our tv, couldn’t turn up volume plus other problems. The note said you can call a 1800 number, but guess what mail box full, so couldn’t get a call back. Coffee machine didn’t work and as for the continental breakfast there wasn’t much. For the price we paid we deserve much better. Spoke to other guests and they were also very disappointed.

Check-in was a nightmare and took nearly an hour with multiple unsuccessful attempts to contact the help phone number given at the site. This motel has no staff on hand to check you in or answer questions/solve problems. The help phone number leads to a recorded message telling you to leave a message, but the mailbox is full and does not accept messages. I finally figured out how to navigate an online check-in system, but after filling out the forms and providing all the request information, when you pressed the SUBMIT button at the bottom, nothing happened. Additionally, the motel said that there is a breakfast but there was no food available at 7:30 AM when we tried to find something to eat. The room itself was acceptable, but the misrepresentation of this company assures that not only will I never deal with this company again, and I will warn my friends and relatives not to do so either. During the hour that we in the motel welcome area trying to contact a human, there were two other couples that were having the same problem as us, Disgraceful!

We have stayed at Trailhead several times. The room and pool are always clean. The property is well run. The property did a good job of bringing us an air mattress after Expedia booked our family of 5 in a 4-person room. The grab and go snacks were grabbed by others and there weren't refills provided throughout the breakfast timeframe.

This was a very clean and spacious room ! Loved the way they do check-in. No line and no entery card to carry around. The pool was great too. Highly recommended !!!

The door was difficult to open. Had to push it open with my shoulder. No person in reception. No elevator to the second floor. The room is clean and the bed is comfortable.

Rooms very clean and nice for a motel. They had a nice outdoor setup with Adirondack chairs, a fire at night and outdoor pool. The lobby lacked an onsite attendant which was a bit frustrating. There were no cups or K Cups for the coffee which was a bit annoying. Other than that they had gentleman there during the day to supply you with extra towels and empty your trash if needed but didn’t make our beds. I am a mom and it’s nice to have someone else make my bed once in awhile other than me. Fairly positive all around, would recommend.

A motel 6 experience at a Hilton price

The motel has the feel of a cheap flip lots of paint and fancy fixtures that look nice in pictures but feel shoddy in person. My room was what felt like a walk out basement and smelled like there had been mildew or water damage that had been quickly repaired and painted over. In general the value of the experience did match the price.

I stayed at this hotel for three nights and was very disappointed with the experience. The bed sheets were dirty upon arrival, and despite reporting it, they were not changed. One night, the power went out and there was no backup generator, which made the stay very uncomfortable. The room felt muggy throughout, and even after notifying the staff that the AC filter was clogged, no action was taken. Additionally, the hotel advertised breakfast on their website, but it was not offered during my stay. Overall, this was far below the basic expectations for a hotel, and I would not recommend it.

This hotel has changed hands in the last couple years and it is a step below what it used to be. No one in the office, no hot coffee (only Keurig) no donuts no food. The the hotel is over priced for what you get. The TV has no cable you have to pay for it. Overall disappointment for Tupper Lake.
