The people here are beyond kind. Our road trip had some major set backs, we arrived at 6 am instead of 3:00 am which is already late, and they let us into our room and had us check all the way in in the morning. Other hotels would have turned us away! The night security guard was the first face we met in Arizona and boy did he make us feel welcome and safe. The bar staff were just as accommodating. Letting us order a salad even after the kitchen closed because we were starving , and never showing anything other than genuine kindness. The rooms are beautiful, though I was under the impression based on the pictures that every room had a sofa and fireplace. This is not the case. The showers are STRONG they could knock back a toddler so be careful, but for me personally this is a major pro. Loved this place and will be back again

Lodge on the Desert is an older property that has been well-maintained. Other than needing a better front entry sign, almost drove past, we truly enjoyed everything about this place. Lots of parking, enjoyable bar and restaurant, spacious rooms and bathrooms. We would stay here again!

Located right in Tucson but pleasantly isolated. Very nice landscaping. Rooms and facilities are well maintained. Housekeeping and maintenance people are pleasant and comfortable interacting with guests. We used the pool and hot tub in the morning in January. Outside temperature was below freezing but the pool and the hot tub were just right. We stayed in a room with a fireplace and it was nice. It's a gas fireplace controlled by a wall switch.

My daughter and I had a deluxe balcony room and it was perfect! William, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and provided us with suggestions on things to do. Having an on-site spa was convenient as well. The staff there was also very pleasant. We will definitely be back!
