For the price, it was good and I would stay again—but I definitely had some lessons learned.
There were no blankets on the bed and the pillows were super flat. When we asked the front desk, we were told to come back the next day. I knew I wouldn’t sleep well, so we made a late-night trip to Walmart for pillows and a blanket.
Housekeeping also came into our room on Saturday and turned the air conditioning off. When we got back, it was nearly 100 degrees and took a long time to cool down. Next time, I’ll be sure to put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door.
Some notes that may help others have a more comfortable stay:
• If you’re bougie, this isn’t the place for you.
• It’s minimalist—basic but clean.
• If you want pillows thicker than prison pillows, bring your own.
• Hotels.com says breakfast is included, but it’s just coffee.
Overall, it was decent for the price, but now I know how to come better prepared.
