The property is charming, inviting, and cozy. Our room was lovely with windows that opened out into a forested area behind the hotel. The neighborhood is quiet (is there a train audible sometimes?) and relaxed but not terribly close to downtown.

It is a lovely hotel in a beautiful area. Two suggestions: offer regular coffee in the room instead of espresso. We paid $10/day to have regular. Change the venting in the room so that the AC isn’t blowing directly on the bed while you’re sleeping.

Staff were great! Brought us water bottles every morning! Asked for 3 the lady gave us 4! Complaint… the room is too dark. Hard to get ready. A bit of a musty smell too. However, cozy and quaint. The restaurant is crazy expensive! Like really!!! We skipped that. I felt ripped off not getting a bigger fridge, and no microwave! We got a suite and was so expensive!

Loved the old world charm of the place. The buffet on Sunday morning was the best buffet I have ever been to! The bed was comfortable and had a very quiet and restful night. Wished the lobby Canto restaurant had more selection on the menu and that the bar was open until 12am. Was told open until 11pm but got back for 10:50 from our night and wanted a night cap and lights were out and they were locking up - was a Saturday night.

The property is AMAZING. The outdoor area surrounding it does not feel like you are in the middle of a big metropolis. It is quiet, serene, and beautiful. The room decor was a bit dated but it was all clean and comfortable. The gym area is a bit small, however I didn't have an issue as there were just myself and another gentleman using it both mornings of our stay, and we preferred different machines!
