Area around the property was smelly and didn’t looked safe. Rooms were really hot with no proper air conditioning. The bathroom lock wasn’t working at all. Bed weren’t not comfortable as well.

This place is in a great location for the Downtown area, but especially if you're a night person and enjoy roaming the city at night. You are in Chinatown so things stay open until 3/4am and there are some really great late-night food options. The room was quite spacious, and clean, so perfect if you're looking for a reasonably priced room just to sleep in. Bed isn't super comfy, especially if you like a really soft bed, but it's decent and manageable. I'd say this place is perfect for a few days, week or 2 weeks max, as there isn't anywhere to cook / store food, or get a drink / water, but fine if you don't mind eating all meals out during your drink and bringing water / drinks to the room at night. There are multiple bathrooms, which are kept pretty clean (at leadt done once a day). You will need to bring your own toiletries though and I'd recommend buying a bigger / more comfy towel (as the ones provided are a little small and thin) if doing a longer trip. I found this place super easy to access and 24/7 which was good as ny flight was delayed and I arrived at 3am. I also found it super safe as a solo female traveller, and had no issues in the building. The rooms are also lockable from the inside and outside.

Rooms were renovated since my last visit, and the AC and a fan were included and functional. The bathroom smelled like wet cigarette butts, but the room itself did not, so that was OK. If you're OK with stairs, and with supplementing your stay with the amenities you need for comfort (your own toiletries, extra pillows, etc..), then this place is a GEM. The price is absolutely the best you'll find, and it is just behind the AGO in a central and convenient, walkable location.

The budget hostel/hotel is about a five minute walk from the largest record store in CANADA. In nearby Dundas street there are so many Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants. In nearby Queen Street there are many U.S. and CANADIAN fast food restaurants.

Do not recommend this property to anyone, worst place I’ve ever paid money to stay at. Three very run down homes, no 24 hour “desk”, pictures are deceiving, walls are paper thin, air conditioning barely worked, and my bed was a futon in a kitchen.

Room was average, had very basic amenities. A fridge, and microwave. Convenient area. Room Could us a paper cup or 2, , perhaps a hook, a hanger to put your stuff on. Bathroom was clean, good shower. Very loud in hallway, yelling guests, lots of slamming doors unfortunately, hear running showers, water, next door. Easy to get in. No checkout instructions when called, or texted. Bring some ear plugs. Good area for food, walkable, easy ttc access. Seemed safe. Nice park close by.

There is no personal interaction with hotel staff only thru phone calls. Drilling ànd construction in tge front yard early morning to evening. The doors shut noisily and people are talking loudly near the room. Entryway looks like a unkempt garage. Staff don't smile at all.

Had a great stay, the staff was attentive and nice, the building and room were spotless. The room was spacies and the bathroom very clean and nicely finished, my hunny really liked the shower The interior looked like a mayor renovation just took place Great location, we walked to the AGO and had lunches and dinners at local establishments and they were very good. Great location for walking to different venues. Tim’s was a 4 minute walk. The only complaint was bed, hardest bed we ever slept on. We both woke up with sore backs but that could just be us. Highly recommend stying here
