do not stay here

We had a terrible stay here. 3 years ago, it was a beautiful hotel now it is a dump. I got bitten by bed bugs so bad. The room stunk so bad of cleaner spray we almost got knocked out walking in trying to cover an odor. the floors where sticky shower was filthy. Horrible experience. My bites are so bad i had to get a steroid cream to help.

The property is rundown and they allowed people to tailgate and barbecue outside in the parking lot. I stayed here because of the Hilton name, but I was very disappointed in the cleanliness and condition of room and the overall hotel. Staff were nice.

Hotel is a bit neglected, front doors were dirty and decals were ratty looking. The lobby was nice, had a pool table and lots of seating for gathering. Our room was ok, but needed touching up. Walls had marks on them, bathroom had some areas of peeling paint. We walked into the room and it was freezing. The thermostat had a note taped on it saying the first digit, which was unreadable was supposed to be a ‘7’ but it was way colder than 72. We had already settled in, set the thermometer to what we thought was 78, and left for dinner. When we returned it hadn’t changed so we just shut it off and went to bed.

My Expedia reservation quoted me one price when I booked through the app, but when I looked at my credit card statement after checking out. the hotel charge me a different amount more of course. I called the hotel and they said they were going to give me a refund of the difference that they overcharged me. Almost a week after checking out still no refund. If they don’t take care of this in the next day or two, I’m going to dispute a fraud charge through my bank.

Unfortunately, when my fiancé and I arrived to check in, we were told our room was canceled by hotels.com and the clerk couldn’t tell me why. After a lot of back and forth, I found out that it was actually canceled by the hotel with no explanation. Imagine

There were loud teenagers who were up all night and running in the hall. Also, a group of kids decided to light fireworks about 150 feet from our room window. Had very poor sleep. Also ran out of towels and the hotel had no extra blankets.

Uncomfortable stay

There was crumbs all over the room including in the bathroom….middle blanket was dirty…not stained but dirty….i was told a blanket on the bed gets reused without being washed….that is disgusting…we have no way of knowing what took place on the blanket…THAT NEEDS TO STOP! Change everything on the bed…really made for an uncomfortable stay!
