Strange check in procedure

Had to self check in on a screen- took longer than needed. Staff all wearing masks made you feel you had some disease and they didn’t want to do the check in - you had to do it. Given a number to come and use the machine to check in. Then I had no bath towel in my room so had to use hand towel. The location was good for me as not too far from Shinjuku station.

Staff were very professional and friendly. The room was very clean and the toilet also had a bidet. The receptionists were very accommodating when they realized that I couldn’t speak Japanese. The Lawson on the ground floor and proximity to the Washington Hotel Airport Limo stop was a huge bonus. Shinjuku station is also a short walk away which added to the convenience to the location. Would book again.

location great, room small but comfortable.

Price was reasonable, each family member were able to stay in own room. Rooms were small but enough space for one person. Location was convenient to restaurants, 7-11, Lawson, Family Mart, train station, shopping, and meeting spot for tours.
Small room with twin bed but room was ideal for one person. Bed was comfortable and had a mini fridge and water kettle.
bathroom was sufficient. I liked the bidet. Hotel provided many toiletries except for body lotion.

The location is close to everything else like shopping, transportation and food. They had laundry facilities which were great if you’re staying for more days. The staff spoke English and was efficient in answering questions.

The place had an excellent location close to Shinjuku station and other attractions. The place was easy to check on and out. Very good experience overall.

The property is not far from the action in Shinjuku however the property itself is not great. There's in mould in the rooms and the tobacco stench is pretty bad even though I was in a non-smoking room. There are only 5 laundry machines to serve the whole building. If the price difference is not significant I would choose another hotel.
