Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Keio Plaza Hotel. It was in a very convenient location with direct access to Shinjuku station via underground passage and in close proximity to the Central Shopping Area. It also gave us a clear view of the light show on the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. However, there were a few minor issues with the room. Although we specifically requested for a non-smoking room, the room slightly smelled like smoke throughout our two night stay. The blanket and bed sheets were also very thin and slid off very easily.

Flexible and good price for the room. Very clean and modern, awesome view. The Sky Plaza is also one of the absolute best features. It has amazing views of the city, but is more comfortable to spend time in than other observation decks.

The entire staff was top notch. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping to the restaurant workers and masseuse was excellent. Hats of to the bakers in particular, I loved the pastries! When I visit again, I would be happy to stay at the Keio Plaza!

Very clean hotel, the only thing I didn't like was that the pool was closed. Sign said it would open on 19 July-September. I was there from 5-9 July and it was very hot in Tokyo. It should be open so guests can cool off during the hot summer months. Why does the pool open so late in July? Its hot now, I need the pool to be open now.

Family Stay

Our family of four each had our own bed, and the beds were comfortably firm. There’s a convenience store just downstairs, which we visited daily. Since our flight was at the end of the day, we extended our stay by four hours. We were grateful for this option, as it allowed our kids to rest longer and be better prepared for the long flight ahead. Tiago was extremely helpful in storing our luggage and arranging our ride to the airport.
