Very nice hotel and staff-we booked this last minute and did not realize how fancy it would be- we were very under dressed, even for walking through the lobby. They had 1 restaurant listed as casual dining so we thought we would go, but it was also very fancy! So make sure you have nice clothes if you want to stay there!

Hotel Chinzanso was the most beautiful hotel we had ever stayed in. Every request was treated by the hotel with utmost care, the garden is magical, as was the view of the city from our room. this hotel truly is an oasis of peace in midst of the busiest city. we hope to stay there again soon. thank you for keeping the unique Japanese traditions alive.

This place provided way more than I ever expected to receive from a hotel. From the moment we arrived the strive for 5 star service was evident. And they achieved it during our entire stay. The staff was always more than accommodating. The onsite dining options were some of the best meals we had in Japan. The garden was stunning and full of history. It was an amazing experience overall. Our sincerest thanks to the entire staff of this establishment, and a special thanks to Murakami San for his consistent personal efforts and time spent with us. This was a very special trip. We will certainly stay here again when we return.
