Very decent experience. The room is spacious enough for the price. Little far from any nearest stations, but it locates in a very quiet, safe residential area near University of Tokyo.
This is a great option for most points however quality bedding was extremely low in the room I stayed in. I think being able to sleep is a significant part of what makes a good hotel. The bed and pillows were extremely hard so I tossed and turned without sleep. My friend who bunked with me slept fine so it’s a matter of personal taste. I’m not sure about the other rooms but the one I got had the toughest bed and pillows I’ve ever felt.
Great value and across street from Tokyo Uni. Only issue was that we stayed in the Japanese style room with tatami and futons. Fun for a couple nights, but the grass mat flooring affected those with hay fever allergies and sleeping on the floor only so fun for 50yo.
