We love this place & so do our dogs. Peaceful and lot to enjoy in nature. Plus indoor pool, sauna & hot tub are relaxing after hiking nearby. Near restaurants & boutique shops too.

Meadowbrook Inn
The staff was friendly and helpful. I forgot some of my hanging clothes. The staff called me to let me know right away but unfortunately I was already an hour away. They mailed them to me and I got them within days. It is within walking distance to downtown and restaurants.

Highland Hills Motel and Cabins – A Master Hosts Resort
Motel part by the road looked pretty sketchy. Cabins in the back had to utilize a washed out and rutted Gravel Drive that went past a home that had cars parked almost in the drive. Cabins inside were old and very run down in a very noisy area as well

The Lodge at Banner Elk
We were not advised that this hotel was being remodeled when making the reservation. The only rooms available to us were in the very back of the hotel where we had to drive around huge shipping containers full of lord knows what, as well as workers staying in some of the rooms hanging over the rails ...
