We had such a great stay at the CW Resort in Clearwater! The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, the views were amazing, and the entire property was very clean and well maintained. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a Florida getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Staff and property was 10/10!!

The hotel was great! The gratuities are added on your checks! Beware because they aren’t very open about that when you go there. We ordered to drinks and our bill was 30.00 and then we also saw a bar fee of almost 3 more dollars! I understand we are at the beach but the 3 wasn’t even on our check I don’t know where it came from. By the way parking is 40.00 a day plus tax!!

Was bitten by spider in the room, 3 times, needs better pest control

This is truly a hidden gem in siesta key! This hotel had all you could ever need. The kitchen had plenty to make home made meals, fridge was full size, plenty of utensils and pot/pans. Living room and dining room were plenty for a family of 3. The bedroom was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Full size bathroom and vanity with chair. The pool was amazing, the hotel offers plenty of towel, toys and have a grill available. The office offers fresh coffee 24 hours a day. The front staff was super friendly and gave you all the information on surrounding area activities. They have plenty of parking and offer frog hop, which takes you anywhere you want to go (on siesta key).

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Voco Sarasota. The hotel truly exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, everything was very clean, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable. What stood out the most was the outstanding customer service, especially from Jake, who assisted us during check-in. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. When we asked for dinner recommendations, he even took the time to prepare a list of the closest and best restaurants for us, which we really appreciated. Thank you, Jake, and the entire Voco Sarasota team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sarasota.

Pros Very Clean, Close walk to pier,shops,resturants,beach Cons Hidden parking cost of $40.00 per day which was never mentioned when making reservation through expedia! The balance due at check in was for the Resort fees which in other words a reason to get more money after you have already paid a lot to stay.I understand entirely about resort fees I own a condo in Myrtle Beach SC and my resort does the same to my guests. It is such a unexplainable or if explained means nothing but 100% way to get guests money for nothing!I put my unit up for sale when my guests were subjected to this added charge.I know this is common to most resorts and we pay but it never feels good because the reason for the money is always the same! Oh towel service or house keeping or whatever they want to say.Was told at my resort at the HOA it goes into a separate account but funny that account does not exist at our HOA meetings Sorry this doesn't have anything to do with Avalon except they do charge extra for parking which is a staple anywhere if the beautiful State of Florida All in all nice place to spend time with family and friends. Oh and Karen is a very nice person and hope this review makes sense ;)
