The front desk lady is the best part of this hotel, very sweet and kind. The hotel has bed bugs, we checked our room very closely but we are so scared we will get them too. They are saying its only on the other floors but bugs dont just stay put. Terrifying to think we might end up with them. Room is kinda clean, food in chair, trash under bed, and multiple huge pee stains on the mattress.... and elevator is broken and theres only 1, it was very hard for my parents to get upstairs, especially with their bags. We only stayed here cuz the entire town was booked... will never stay here again.... it was a complete robbery of our money to charge 150$ for a hotel with bed bugs.. and that was the discount price.

Everything in this room was broken and the next door neighbor was smoking strong weed all day. The latch on the door had been broken and wouldn’t close properly. We stayed in #114 Never going to stay there again.!

We have stayed at this hotel twice this summer and both times there were only waffles, spoiled fruit and dried out bread. When asked about yogurt(both times)they said they ran out yesterday. There should be at least enough yogurt for guests each day and the bread or muffins should be fresh. I have never stayed at another Super 8 with such a poor breakfast.

The building could use some maintenance, but it was clean & comfortable and the staff is friendly. I booked through Expedia and Expedia has misleading photos for the rooms (like using the suite as the thumbnail for a standard room). That is not the hotel’s fault, the hotel was accommodating.

Poor choice, poor location

Right next to the freeway, so the traffic noise was if course very loud. Very poor choice for area if town as it's a frequent for encouraging behaviors and police presence. The first room neighbors were in a domestic disturbance so I moved floors just before they were arrested. The staff was great about moving me and I'm grateful for that. The second floor was less police activity, but non stop excessive loud occupants late into the night. This the staff did nothing about. The furnishings; especially the mattresses are at over due for replacement and are extremely uncomfortable. If it was not late at night with no other room options, I would have moved on to another place. Do not recommended

This hotel is very dated and in need of renovation. It is the standard of the old Super 8's not those updated since Wyndham has flagged them. There were people cooking on camp stoves and drinking outside the backdoor and there was the smell of pot smoke there as well. The people at the front desk were very nice, the only reason I didnt give them a lower rating. I would not stay there again. It seemed like a hotel where they place homeless people temporarily.

MAKE SURE YOU MANAGE YOUR RESERVATION

Didn't even make it due to personal stresses I totally forgot I even made this reservation. Didn't receive a "your upcoming trip," notification or anything from either the property or hotels.com... which I won't be using their service again either because I have never not gotten like a "upcoming trip," notice or something along those lines. Literally just one email from hotels.com the day I made the reservation (in May close to three months prior to the trip). I was charged per room I reserved. No phone call. Nothing. They said they were sold out, you can't tell me on a summer weekend in July in The Dalles, Oregon they didn't have people calling. No one could call and ask if we were going to make it???? I know that's not their responsibility but I have seen motels do it. Just frustrating I'm out money for a trip I didn't even get to take due to personal chaos/emergencies in my own life. Moral of the story, pay attention to your reservations folks. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU.
