Quick and easy

Decent enough locale. Would have been good for an extended stay. The elevator was very sketchy though, and the stairs felt like they were gonna eat me.

Needs updating, maintenance and deep cleaning.

I’m surprised that IHG doesn’t keep up on maintenance of the property. When you enter the sliding door doesn’t seem to open all the way. Behind the reservation desk you see the molding on the bottom of the wall taped up with duck tape. In the elevator, the peel and stick tile is covered with more duck tape. Carpets in hallway visibly stained and all doors visibly need to be cleaned and painted black markings all over. My deadbolt lock did not engage the strike plate and ice maker did not work. The door frame to bathroom stained with red/orange and needs cleaned. I won’t stay again. The employees not dressed professionally.

my check-in wasn’t the bad part come to find out since I was traveling through and I arrived late. The deadlock on my door didn’t work and there’s rust all over the metal door frames on the property. Also the next morning starting at about eight 830 somebody kept knocking on my door

This property is very old, it’s a non smoking facility but it smells like cigarettes. The elevator was so jumpy and it had duck tape holding it together in places. The area where there were snacks was pitiful, it’s an extended stay and there’s hardly food and extras for people to purchase. Poor use of my money and I wish I knew about what it looked like before I stayed. Lesson learned

This is probably the worst hotel we’ve stayed at in a very long time! TV has very limited viewing options, there was only a single dining table type chair to sit in (it was in very old loose condition). The beds, are hard planks, I could barely stand up after a long sleepless night my back hurt so bad! hope to never stay here again, I know the Candle Wood Suite name is a leader in the hotel world. Just wish I could get my money back! Oh well headed to Temple Tx.

We arrived late and could not walk on the sidewalk because of the way trucks were parked, with our suitcases this is inconvenient. Checkin was slow which caused the gentlemen behind us to ask if he could go before us. The room is average our room had no shampoo and the toilet roll holder was broken. Bed was average, there is also a horrible smell in the Hotel which is most unpleasant. Overall Hotel would not go back to.
