Great location new room , good price ( depends on week days )

This hotel was the best hotel I stayed at during my two-week trip to Poland. I wish I had booked stays in PURO hotels in other Polish cities. The staff were super helpful and friendly, the free espresso in the lobby was great and the free city walking tour organized by the hotel was excellent. The hotel was also well located and within walking distance to all the main sites.

Very old and outdated property that desperately needs modernising. Rooms were overall just outdated. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special. "Exercise room" was awful. WiFi was down for the day and no attempt was made to apologise about this. And as a feriegn tourist, surely they realise how important WiFi is to a traveller? We arrived a couple of hours early and were told that our room was ready but were not allowed to check in until 3pm. Which again is just an outdated approach to customer service. Why not do the work now rather than stacked work later? We were allowed to store our bags in their office though. Which was not secure as the key was in the door already but I find Poland on general safe so I wasn't overly concerned. Cleanliness seemed ok. I definitely didn't notice anything that was bad. Overall not the best experience but some easy fixes.
