Self Check in is via a screen manned by reception who had to help as the card creator did not work. Not a very good check in experience. The room was getting tired décor wise as were the corridors, they looked battered. Facilities in the room were decent with Tea and coffee facilities and ironing board. Overall it could have been better but it wasn't bad, its just the small details that need to improve.

Lovely stay but the bathroom needs attention.

Having stayed at Village hotels previously we were pretty certain of what to expect. Check in was swift and easy and our Club room was very spacious. However, the lighting in the room was terrible! Unless you went into the bathroom it was almost impossible to see what you were doing. There was no light by the wardrobe whatsover. The bathroom was laid out well and the bath was a good size however the area around the shower was very dirty which let the hotel down. The pool and gym were very good (the pool wasn’t as big as in some hotels but it was a good temperature). Breakfast was lovely with plenty of options.
