Very noisy when in the room. A family were in the room above. You could hear them all talking and the kids running about after 11.30 pm. The internal bathroom door handle was wobbling and only held on by one screw (reported). The bathroom extractor fan didn’t work. The room heating system was very noisy when it came on throughout the night. The bed was very comfortable though. Overall, the hotel in gym and other communal areas are very nice. However the rooms are dated and tired and in a good need of a spruce up.

The hotel is looking very tired, bathroom was clean but badly in need of updating. Shower head didn’t work properly, bathroom door jammed when you closed it and was alarmingly difficult to open. We only stayed for one night, there was a discarded room service tray with dirty dishes and food scraps on the floor a few doors down from our room. It was there when we arrived and still there when we left.

Nice spacious rooms but somewhat outdated, handle from chest of drawers just came off when I tried to opened. Nice staff but had to ask for towels as they gave us two bath towels only for 4 people. Nice breakfast with plenty choice. Shame about parking being charged even for guests with blue badge.

This is a nice hotel, perhaps a little bland, but well organised. There was a big function on the night we arrived, but our meal was pleasant and the staff friendly and helpful. I would happily stay again

Really nice weekend at the Delta. Rooms are clean. The breakfast was really good. We used the pool a few times. I would say the pool was a little cold. Overall a fantastic stay.

Mattress and pillows the most uncomfortable ive slept on, to the point im in pain with my neck and back, as is my husband. Bathroom dated, shower poor. Toilet cisten constantly leaking, shower head leaked so no pressure. TV would not connect to cast and no sky either. Breakfast was however good for the price.

The spa and gym were nice. There wasn't any gluten free options for dinner so we ate out. The parking wasn't free which was a shame. In our room the TV wasnt working properly and the bathroom sink started leaking after the stopper got stuck. We were moved to another room which resolved the problem. Overall the stay was ok due to the location which was near to the Costwold which we wanted to explore. The restaurants in the area were also good.

Breakfast was ok, lots of choice, plenty available and fully stocked. Room was ok. Heater didn’t work well, turned itself off after 5 minutes and had to switch it off and on to work again for another 5 minutes but enough to get the room warmish to get ready. You have to pay for parking now (which you didn’t used to have). Bar prices are on the expensive side (£7.50 for a pint of Guinness). We didn’t stay for dinner, looked at the menu and prices were high for what you get and decided to go to Miller & Carter instead (better value for money and was excellent). Stayed here a few times in the past as it’s an easy location.
