I had a terrible experience with my hotel booking yesterday. I made the reservation in the morning and informed the owner, John, that we would arrive late, after 9:00 PM. She told me there would be a £60 late check-in charge, which I agreed to. At 9:00 PM, she messaged me, and I explained that due to traffic and an accident, we would be delayed by about an hour. She responded rudely, telling me to call when I arrived, and I agreed. Before reaching the property, I messaged her at 10:55 PM to confirm our arrival time, and although she read the message, she did not reply. When we arrived at 10:55 PM, I called her, but she had blocked my number. I tried again from another phone, but after several attempts, she also blocked that number. (I have all proof in my phone). Your team was also called her but she did not answer your team call in the night approximately at 11:15 PM time and morning time at 6:25 AM. As a result, I was left stranded with my family after a five-hour drive, despite having paid for the reservation and accepted all her terms. This behavior was extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. I want my all money back which I paid her.
