Amazing place to stay at! Would stay here again in Duck 10000 percent!!

Staff is always very welcoming, room looked updated and breakfasts were great!

We really enjoyed our stay and loved the experience, especially the great views and the location. Like a lot of beach resorts, it was a little dated, but we expected that going in and it didn’t take away from our overall experience.

Blackbeard’s Lodge is full of charm. The bed was comfortable. The room was small and cozy. Nice hot shower with good water pressure. There was fresh coffee in the lobby in the morning. The host Cynthia was very nice and helpful. The location is convenient to restaurants, the beach and shopping. Definitely would stay again.

Everything about the stay and the room were wonderful. The only inconvenience I experienced was the difficulty getting into the building to check in, and the amount of people having the same problem trying to piggy back off me when I had a key card to enter the building. It would be a perfect place to stay if the check in desk wasn’t locked away and directly next to the indoor pool.

Great stay! Great beach access, staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms had everything we could need for a weekend stay.
