After a good stay over the last weekend we returned for another stay for a family event and were on the first floor. Our room along with family members room was overcome with the smell of mold and old cigarettes. My guess is these rooms may have been smoking rooms from the previous hotel owner. This wasn’t the case the week before when we were on the second floor.

I found this to be very well maintained, clean and quiet. For a one night stay that’s all I really want. The area around the place seemed a little odd - condos next door and some sort of commercial operation across the street but no real problem with that. There was in fact a water view but it was kind of meh and not a compelling reason to pay more to stay there. The continental breakfast was basically next to nothing unless you like pre wrapped processed food items like twinkies. Crazy to see that. Funny how the better the hotel is the worse the breakfast. If you don’t care about view, location, or breakfast, then this is a really lovely little hotel.

The outside is terribly deceiving. Looks like an old abandoned hotel. Room smelled like stale smoke, it was dark in there. Not the worst I've seen but certainly hope new ownership brings improvements. Staff was kind, but seemed few and far between.

Room AC NOT WORKING PROPERLY. BED SIDE LT. DID NOT WRK. TUBE WAS VERY SLIPPERY. ADJOINING RESTURANT WAS EXCELLENT

Upon check in at 4:30 our room wasn’t clean and we had to wait 1.5 hours with 2 small kids. Front desk was no way helpful, concerned or apologetic. Our room had a small area by the bed that was wet and the floor soft like you could fall though it.
