We really enjoyed the hot tub and the inside pool. Plenty of clean towels . All linens. We’re white and very clean. We enjoyed our stay.

If what you need is a utilitarian stay in a clean modern setting; no real frills beyond a good hot tub and pool, this will do. But it’s a conference center first and foremost, with not a lot of charm, beyond a hodge podge of architectural decoration-not a scenic spot for a vacation. The photos are somewhat deceptive in this regard, as is the folksie sounding name.

We always stay here while visiting Brimfield. Love that we can eat dinner in their restaurant as one of the options. Pool and hot tub are great! Used the workout facilities too. Really nice front desk staff. Room was comfy and clean- very nice mattress and room layout. We will always return when it's Brimfield time!

Really like the re-use of the old optical company building. Kitchen staff does a great job with a small menu. Bar staff is awesome. Management should ensure enough servers on hand for crowds. Which is probably difficult given the huge conference center and a limited occupancy. No lunch options is problematic. The halls require vacuuming more often. If the hotel is going to continue only servicing the rooms every other day (which is fine BTW!) then you must make sure ample coffee, cups and glasses are in the room for 2 days.

It’s a fascinating property with a lot of cool history. It’s in a neighborhood where you don’t expect it to be in. But we had a great visit. Everything was really clean and comfortable!

Disappointing

The hotel itself is actually very beautiful. Common spaces are clean. The bar and restaurant are amazing. The pool is really nice. My issue was with my actual room. I had booked for three nights. I was given a room right by the microwave and ice machine that had no outside windows. I was not able to sleep due to all of the noise and children running up and down the hallways. I asked to be moved to another room and the front desk. Staff were very accommodating the maintenance guys whom I asked for help with my luggage, were also extremely nice. Unfortunately, the room where I was moved, looked like the only thing that was cleaned. Was the bed itself with new sheets. Everything else was very dusty and looked dirty. The TV did not work. The room itself, although it had an outside window, was not in very good condition. The furniture looked very old with peeling paint and veneer. My stay was very disappointing due to these matters.
