This was a very cute, beautifully refurbished vintage motel. It had a lot of character and the front desk staff was warm and full of southern charm. The only thing lacking was a vending machine. We got in too late for restaurants and it would have been nice to get a snack before bed. Small potatoes. Great stop.

It was like we had the whole place to ourselves! The hotel was definitely the highlight to our stay in Roanoke. My kids loved the refreshments. The hotel was beautiful, the bed & furniture were amazing and so comfortable. We did not have bedding the first night we were there for the pullout, not that my teenager cared, but we found someone doing housekeeping the following day and he was so nice and got it immediately.

The property was well maintained and the room was clean and spacious. Given that the hotel is new there are a few enhancements that would improve the overall experience. Each room should be equipped with a safe and a coffee maker as opposed to a tea pot with pouch coffee would be an improvement. A second luggage stand along with a small microwave in the suite kitchenette would also be useful.

Patio by pool was nice but they did not allow food. Would be a nice place to eat as the rooms were not really designed for eating.

Staff was nice and welcoming. The room was nice and clean, no musty smells. A/C worked great. Tub was a little awkward as it had deep ridges in it and no handles for my mother to get in. Breakfast had a good selection for everyone in the family. Pool looked nice and clean. Would definitely stay again.
