"Last day in Italy - Great Stay "
The staff were great and the room was very clean and well appointed. Could hear others in the hall but didn't dampen the experience at all. The free shuttle to the airport is worth the stay, it can get you to all transit to explore everything Venice has to offer. Breakfast is OK but just had it on way to airport to leave. I wouldn't hesitate staying here again.

"Wonderful stay just outside of Venice"
Hotel is literally across the street from the train station that goes to Venice and elsewhere, wonderfully convenient location. We caught the train into Venice one day and the high speed train to Rome the next. Breakfast was very good. Hotel condition was outstanding. Hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, although a bit slow. Only real complaint was the bathrooms were a little small/awkward, but nothing that really made our stay uncomfortable.

"New hotel,good location,friendly,helpful staff"
Thoroughly enjoyed our 5 day stay in this beautiful city. Great to wander around everywhere and enjoy the atmosphere without the noise and smell of traffic. Like all city breaks Food and drink can be expensive in the tourist areas but a few streets back the cafes and restaurants in the squares are very reasonably. Felt very safe wherever we ventured.j

"Very nice hotel, Excellent if you have a car"
This hotel is amazing. The price is very low compared to what you get. It is located in the industrial city in Padova near an IKEA (industrial city is very nice and calm by the way). Area is very calm and has an amazing mountain view. If you have a car, it is the perfect hotel to visit both venice and padova. about 22 mins drive to venice and 8-10 mins drive to church of saint Anthony in padova downtown with a very easy access to the highway. Breakfast was amazing and room was great. Staff are good and speak good english. All in all great stay and would recommend to everyone.

"Good Value Accommodation near to Rail Station"
Staff at this hotel were kind and welcoming. We were allowed an early check-in, which was great for dropping off bags and getting prepped to explore the city. Room was spacious, bedding clean and lovely toiletries. Only complaint is the bathtub was visibly worn and the drain pipe was clogged, with water backing up, and the safety deposit box was a little questionable. Housekeeping was very helpful, even though we couldn't speak much Italian. Breakfast was superb, with a fantastic array of croissants, pastries, cold meats and cheeses, boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit. It's a fair walk to the Basilica, several blocks down and 20 to 25 minutes on foot. The streets were closed in April because of the marathon, making is quite easy for pedestrians to get around. There are groups of persons who loiter outside the hotel, near to a fast-food outlet, throughout the day and at night. The hotel has no security, so travellers should be vigilant.

"Pre Cruise Stay"
This hotel was wonderful. It was a 10 min drive from the airport and a 25 euro cab ride. We were 2 couples spending a couple of days in Venice before embarking on a cruise. We found the staff very friendly, check in was quick and painless. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was away from the hustle and bustle of Venice and it's port area, however it was convenient in getting in and out of the city. There is a bus stop that is very close by that will take you into Venice for 6 euros. Also the hotel provided us with a shuttle to the cruise port for 16 euros each which was much less than what was quoted to us by taxi.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Stra, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Stra hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
