This property is currently under renovations and I am looking forward to seeing the renovations done to see the new updates. We have stayed here numerous times and I love the staff the location. Everything is walkable. I have never had a bad stay at Stowe Flake. They have a great gym with plenty of equipment indoor and outdoor pool. I will definitely stay here again.

I would like to preface that I checked in the day after 500 guests left the hotel...that being said, it was a ghost town, I waited 25 minutes for anyone who worked there to come by and help me check in. The man was very polite and informative, but looked frazzled...I'm guessing they are short-staffed. The hotel smelled very musky, but the room itself didn't- it was great actually. Very spacious, clean, and beds were comfortable. This hotel needs a facelift, and I would say more staff and security.

The Stoweflake is not what it once was many years ago. The hotel is quite dated. While they are trying to update slowly but surely, the signs are clear. However, the price is quite reasonable when compared to other similar properties, so you can't have your cake and eat it too. The outdoor pool is not heated and neither is the indoor one (unless it was broken). The shower pressure is non-existent. I didn't even have a lock on my bathroom door. The beds are not the worst I've slept on, but certainly far from the best. I appreciated the free breakfast, considering how expensive the local eateries are. The rooms were quite big, which is nice for traveling families. They have access to an EV charger on site, but it's paid (unlike most hotels nearby). The gameroom is straight out of The Shining, buried in the basement where children would surely love to spend their time. Overall, the hotel is quite bland and missing any semblance of life (it literally felt like we were the only family on site) but there is certainly value for the money. The staff were quite friendly.

We stayed in the meadows townhouses which was lovely. The meadows were well maintaned. Unfortunately, the property itself looks worn out and old. We have stayed here several times and never saw it look this bad. Also, the outdoor pool was out of service which was disappointing. There is no restaurant on property and the breakfast was very basic.

I was very disappointed to learn on my arrival that the outdoor pool was closed, in July. If I had known ahead of time, I would have cancelled. The hotel was very run down, in need of a huge update. It was not dirty, but everything was worn. The main public hallways and rooms did not appear to be air conditioned and the hotel was warm and humid.

We had a good stay. The room is spacious and the hotel is within walking distance to some restaurants. The facility is a short distance from Stowe downtown. They are in the process of doing renovations and upgrades to the facility. We visited during summer.

Zero amenities available including, F&B and spa, which was reason we booked. There was no indication on site this was happening. Checked out 10 minutes after we checked in. When we got to next hotel to check in, they advised that Snowflake lodge was going to auction in two days.

Poor breakfast and dinning area.

Convenient location. Good size room. On arrival we had some difficulty locating our room. Breakfast area is located in front of the front desk so people. who check in and out are right in the middle of your dining experience. For this quite large hotel there are only three dining tables and more sitting options are around coffee tables. Breakfast is minimal , unhealthy continental. Cold boiled eggs, sticky bagels, some apples and overripe bannanas and muffins.

I solid option just out of the village in Stowe

We were in town for a balloon festival that had to be significantly curtail because of weather. As a result, we stayed at the property more than we would’ve. It was entirely comfortable and more than sufficient for our needs. The building looks a little tired from the outside, but they were posters all over saying they were Renovation plans, underway, so that’s really great for them. Staff were very nice and the lawn/courtyard was very pretty. They had a wedding going on while we were there.

A Land of Pine Trees, Mountains and Waterfalls

The town in itself is a mini Switzerlamd, and Snowflake Resort added to the enchanting beauty of Stowe, VT. Room was huge for four guests. Breakfast was good. The place is walkable; although you need a car to explore the history and culture of the place. If not driving and taking the train or airplane, be sure to reserve an Uber ride in advance. Overall, it’s a place you will surely come back to.
