I did a lot of research before choosing Frey's for our week in Stockholm. I couldn't have picked a better location. It was clean, quiet, warm, and had free breakfast. We also chose a balcony room. Our stay was perfect!

Perfect base for sightseeing. The old town is just 10 minutes walk away and metro, buses and trains are a few metres from hotel. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast catering for all tastes. Our room was a standard double which was 'compact' but had everything needed for a good night's sleep and reasonably priced. Would thoroughly recommend Freys

Disgusting hotel. So dated. No mattress. You sleep on a mattress protector. Breakfast was awful, asked if they had any croissants left and just got told a simple “No”, even though breakfast was only open 30 minutes. Like going back in time and absolutely appalled. Didn't sleep all weekend from the awful bed. The shower gel was filled up with water and the room had so much clutter it was impossible to move about. Whatever you do. Do not stay at Freys hotel.

Great hotel close to the train station. Conveniently located for all the sights. Wonderful staff on the front desk- always helpful & friendly. Delicious breakfasts but service for the evening meal was poor so would recommend eating out locally. Would definitely stay again.

We had a brilliant stay. The hotel was very clean, with a great breakfast, and the staff very friendly. The room felt a bit dated with no USB chargers and the heating system was very noisy.

Good central choice

We'd a perfectly pleasant 3 night stay here. We had just come from 5 nights in the Arctic & so had quite a bit of baggage with us. One of the main reasons I chose the hotel was due to its location near transport hubs. It is just a couple of minutes - straight across the road from the Arlanda Express stop so that worked perfectly for us. There is also an access lift to the metro beside the hotel which is handy if using it. It's also walkable to Gamla Stan & Museum Island. There is also a good range of restaurants within a few minutes' walk. Our room was quite small - which is quite common in European capital cities but well-equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of hot & cold options. Staff were also helpful
