The house is beautiful and clean. We really enjoyed the small welcoming touches and how personable the hostess is. The breakfast and conversations were great!

My room was clean but I did find a couple of bugs in my room. a large caterpillar like bug and some other bug in my bathroom. This hotel seems understaffed. Sometimes there isn't anyone available at the front desk. Seems the manager lives at the hotel and will shut the front down at night. They do have a large laundry room that I didn't use. the fitnesss room does have modern cardio equipement. No pool. The only other issue I had was I requested a late check out. However, all they offered was a 12pm check out that would cost me about $50 anything longer I'd have to pay a full day. Lastly, the morning of my check out, after getting an email & text reminding me of my check out time, one of the hotel employees came to my room at 10:20am, didn't knock, just opened the door while I was laying in bed. When I yelled, "What are you doing?" He said, "Just a reminder that check out is at 11am. This was completely unnacceptable

Lots of spiders, to be expected in the setting though. I would have preferred a shower to the big tub which is hard to get in and out of. Absolutely stunning retreat however, a lovely experience and I highly recommend!

We had a blast at our stay at Forest Springs Resort! We stayed in one of the forest facing, patio rooms and it was perfect for my husband, myself, and our 2 dogs! We loved the trails on property and all of the amenities. The cold plunge and sauna were *chefs kiss* and so unique! The resort was also only about a 5 min drive to downtown, very close to a trolley stop, and walkable to some great restaurants like a breakfast diner and an Irish pub! Thanks for a great stay.

We liked everything, very clean, very organized they have everything you need. Staying there was one of our favorite parts of our trip ;)

Is an older hotel BUT they are in the process of remodeling, rooms are clean, location is excellent...right in the middle of town close to main street, close to stores and restaurants
