Clean and convenient

First, the good news: My room was large, clean, and newly updated. I also thought the staff were very capable and friendly. The not-so-good news: The facility as a whole feels a bit shop-worn. Much more seriously, the smell in the lobby is very unpleasant (some of this is likely the result of having the indoor pool right off the lobby).

The rooms were really outdated , could only watch tv in the bedroom ... the living room tv was too dark . The breakfast was terrible . I stay at a lot of hotels for my job! I wouldn't stay here again

Great place to stay since we were going to a concert at the new amphitheater. Nice room with plenty of food places to make a decision on what to eat. It was a little speedy but worth it for the wife's birthday!

Our room was nice and clean. The staff I spoke to was very kind and helpful. I accidentally left a shopping bag in the cabinet when we checked out and the GM Karla contacted me and was able to get it shipped to me. I was so afraid it was gone forever! The location is nice because we were close to the mall and having restaurants close was nice as well. We did not go down for the breakfast, but when we went to check out I noticed a line backing all the way up to the elevators for breakfast and it seemed somewhat overwhelming.

If your looking to spend time in the room or dinning at the Nicollet Island Inn. I dont think you will be disappointed. Everything is close to the hotel. A quick Uber ride and your in down town Mpls or St.Paul. I have stayed here a few times. The thing I have liked is a simple thing. You get a real door key. Funny yes but not something one gets anymore.

Great location to MSP, spacious rooms, but the ceilings/floors are not insulated well at all. Can hear every single step from the room above you so makes it hard to sleep if you have someone else right above your room.
