The property is overgrown and unkept. Landscaping is mostly dead and unkept. Bed was comfortable but the sheets were terribly worn and need replacing. Tv sound did not work in our room. Breakfast was amazing! Pool was “out of service until further notice”. Would have been nice to know that at booking. Curtains on ground floor were open to a room that is clearly used for storage and it was unsightly.

Stains and mildew smell in the hallway carpets, sticky floor in room entry, couch/pull out bed felt like laying on a fence, broken coffee table, bathroom door wouldn’t close all the way to engage lock, no hot water in shower, phone didn’t work to call front desk about it. When I went downstairs to report it, staff told me maintenance would fix it in the morning. I asked for a new room and there was not an urgency until I said I would wait in the lobby. As I waited for her to return, someone else came down with a complaint so it wasn’t just bad luck. Stains and mildew smell in the hallway carpets continued to new room, overwhelming air freshener smell felt like cover, but it was 11 pm by that time after a long travel day, couch/pull out bed still felt like a fence, bathroom door frame had gaps all around it and the vent in the bathroom did not work. There were also two TVs in there and the remote would turn them both on and off, but channels were not in sync not matter what you did so they were unusable. Breakfast was mediocre with eggs sitting in visible water, fruit was all damaged, and most of the chairs were stained.

Waited over 15 min for desk staff to come from staff room to check us in. After calling loudly “hello”. Had to call by phone to get some to come out. Reserved a king room and door wouldn’t open, went to front desk and changed rooms to a double queen room no more king rooms and door cards didn’t work again. Staff lectured us on smoking in rooms would cost us $250 while people smoked at the front doors. Rooms were clean and comfortable but staff need some personal skills help.
