Great value, would choose again!

Chose this hotel due to proximity to Dulles Airport. Unlike some other places on hotels.com that claim to have an airport shuttle, this one really does! We were picked up from the airport in a reasonable amount of time and the very early (4 am) departure shuttle we needed was right on time and not overbooked. The shuttle driver and hotel staff were super helpful and nice. Great value for money, we definitely would stay here again.

Disappointed

Our group of 6 picked this hotel because of the early shuttle time beginning at 4am. I requested the 4am shuttle ahead of time, which was in the notes of my reservation at time of arrival. The shuttle is free to the airport, which is another reason we picked this hotel. However, the shuttle only holds 10 people. A group of 5 checked in to the hotel minutes before us and requested the shuttle. With our party of 6, they told us we couldn't use the free shuttle service. We had to call an Uber, and additional expense. Because they couldn't offer us another shuttle because of only one driver, I asked if they could compsensate our fee for parking our car for the week. They said, "unfortunately, no." I felt like that may have been a nice thing to do, or even offer something else for us, but nothing. The hotel was clean, and comfortable enough for the overnight stay.

A few things need improvement

The front desk staff was absolutely friendly and professional, although the woman that checked us in did give us keys that didnt work. My husband walked all the way back to get new keys and they did work, however there were already people IN THE ROOM! So yeah.. finally got an available room and i could see nail clippings and hair on the carpet so i laid towels down to walk on. The bed was lumpy, pillow was hot and the heat was incredibly hot even though we had it on low and the coolest setting. It was 40 degrees out and ended up turning on the ac because it was better than sauna temps to sleep in. Shuttle service good because starts at 4am. I just dont think i could go back!
