Was just a quick overnight stay to visit our daughter. Room was lovely and very clean. Staff was extremely friendly. Only issue was the highway noise... We will definitely come back but will request the courtyard side for a room.

the room is very noisy, window seal is bad as it is facing freeway. door has large gap and can hear people talking on hallway. not worth it for the price you pay.

This beautiful property was a delight from beginning to end. Tasteful antique decor, gardens, surprisingly excellent breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff. This will be our go-to hotel whenever we’re in this part of Connecticut.

Staff here from bellmen to front desk and cleaning is top notch. At breakfast the staff work overtime to make sure everything is replenished and tables are cleared and cleaned promptly. The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Only issue can be the highway noise but thankfully I had a room on the side away from highway. Very convenient location.
