A nice old hotel in main street of St Pete dowtown. Bedroom was good. Parking was in front for a decent extra pice. 10 dollars a night. Great front desk. Good wifi.
Was put on the 3rd floor. The carpeting was disgusting and smelled in the hallway. Had to change rooms twice. First room, no fridge and phone didn't work. Second room the AC could not cool the room down. No microwaves in any rooms. Next day went out for breakfast only to return and my room card would not unlock the door. After two trips to the front desk, the person working had to use his master card to open the door. After returning from dinner was my room card re-keyed and finally worked. I feel like since I used Expedia which provided a lower room rate, they put those of us on a crappy floor or in rooms with zero view. My view was the backside of the building next door. Great location in the downtown area, but that was just about it for my stay. Rooms clean, but tiny bathrooms.
Before even entering the property, I could tell that I had made a mistake. This is a One-Star Property, not Three-Star. In fact two stars even would even be laughable. There was no clear sign for the where the entrance was, and then a landscaper pointed me to a random door that could have been an entrance to anywhere. I opened it and the front desk person immediately knew who I was and was being quite weird about, saying “I was hoping you’d come early so I can now go take a nap,” which is not very professional. The room had a very dirty wooden floor, so I did not dare take off my shoes off. The water from the sink was barely functioning and the bed sheets and towels still had stains and even hair on them from prior visitors. I did not even consider getting into the shower, which was clearly not cleaned. Half the windows were cracked and at night I could not sleep because of the noise of the A/C unit, which was still barely functioning. I just prayed there were no bed bugs with how dirty the sheets were. There was nobody available to change them when I went to the lobby at night. There was a TV but it was angled away from the bed in the corner, so you could barely see the screen unless you were sitting on the floor. You also needed an Apple TV subscription to watch. Felt uncomfortable leaving the room because there was also no safe. Not an understatement when I say it’s the worst hotel I’ve stayed in in my life.
Great front desk service but rooms were weird. The floors are slanted, beds are squeaky and uncomfortable. It is loud noisy due to road and ac unit in room
There is nothing botique aboit thos place. Its dirty and the desk man was slumped in the chair when we walked in. No pool, the bar downstairs has rude staff. The location is great thought. You will he walking distance to almost anything downtown
1. The gentleman checking me in with the bright blue eyes was awesome.
2. The lady in male throughout my stay did not acknowledge nor address me like a other hotels they nod and say hello at least.
3. The hotel is historic AKA very very very old.. decrepit. The rooms do not have a microwave. The building has one microwave which is on the second floor.
4. The bathroom gets a one star. It's tiny. I'm not a large person by any means and I think it was tiny. Probably the size of a closet.
5. The strip that it was on was very busy and bustling. That being said Thursday through Saturday was loud. It's a club scene. Lots of music lots of people standing outside in lines.
6. Zero parking. You have to park across the street or find a parking garage which I was told would be $9 a day. However if you're coming back to the hotel to sleep you're then considered overnight which then is a double charge. I spent a lot of money on parking due to this.
I definitely would not stay here again and I do not recommend anyone else to stay here.

Outside of property looked abandoned when we arrived. The sign was out and the meters were flagged. No place to check in. Parked down the block to check in.
Check in lady was nice and was able to get in earlier however was told to park across the street in the garage and parking would be $10 but instead it was $15. Not a big deal but should be noted.
Room was very warm and had a strange smell but was clean.
Went out and surrounding area was great lots of options to eat and explore.
Came back and found cockroach in our bathroom.
Overall location fantastic, but needs to be updated and cleaned up before returning.

Old hotel with old rooms. Bad mattress & pillows! Tiny bathroom & shower. We won’t be staying there again!
The location is great but the hotel is very old and the rooms are not nice at all and the smell coming from the shower drain was horrible. Don’t go there.
Stay was okay. Attached to a bar and the music and patrons could be loud. It’s more a “quaint” and “historic” kind of vibe. It’s older and not very updated. Takes a while for the rooms to cool down. Is in a good location and had a cool view. Elevator was broken.
This was a charming hotel in an excellent spot. We had views of Tampa Bay and downtown St. Pete both to enjoy. It was a historic building, with high ceilings, art deco, picture rail moldings. The staff were friendly and helpful, even getting me a glass of ice from the neighboring restaurant when the ice maker was down. Super easy access to restaurants and a divine coffee shop 1 block away.
