You have to drag you ludggage through the restuarant to get to your room. Parking if very limited and far from the entrance to the hotel. Check out is at 12. Since we had brought a pet our 21yo Cat. We wanted to eat lunch in the hotel before leaving for a 4 hour trip home. The front desk would not allow us to stay without paying another days rate on the room even though we were going to eat in their restuarant before leaving. There are many other hotels that are new modern and have much more room. Our rooms door hit the bathroom door if it was open. When I say small think European small that's how small our room was

I'm going to be honest here... the room was MUCH small than what the photos show. The room was a bit musty, but then again, its a old building. The bathroom floors were sticky, so you might want to keep your shoes on at all times. It was noisy up until just after midnight.The good? The bed was comfortable, the pillows were as well, tv worked just fine and the AC kept the room cool and the restaurant has fairly good food. The people i dealt with at the check in desk were nice, our waitress wasn't the best with stopping by to see if you need anything, like refills, etc. The bartender was really nice. It's not a bad place, but just know not to expect what you're seeking in the photos. The outside dining area was nice.

Love staying at the Hollander! It’s my favorite place to stay in St.Pete!! Staff is amazing! Rooms are clean, and it doesn’t hurt when there’s a pool party happening with a sweet DJ! So fun!

A wonderful hotel located steps from a St Petersburg FREE downtown Looper trolley stop and 15-minute walk from a lot of restaurants. The staff is professional and lodger-friendly. We stayed 3 nights. The first night, our room was situated near an A/C unit on the first-floor roof. It caused a low frequency noise that interfered with our sleep. Upon complaining, the staff relocated us to another room for the next two nights. There is an on-site restaurant and coffee shop that serves delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner (with 21 craft beers). Most of the museums and attractions are no more than 15-minute walk if you don't take the Looper trolley. We found the best way to see St Petersburg was to park the car at the hotel (free!) and walk or Looper trolley around the area. Of special note are the Salvator Dali Museum, the Chihuly glass exhibit, and the near-to-the-hotel Museum of American Arts and Crafts Movement. A few nits: (1) no phones in the rooms (2) first room had a bright thermostat light opposite the bed (3) first room shower water did not get above lukewarm and (4) coffee shop doesn’t open until 7 AM. They do provide free bottled water at the check-in desk, however. All said, great hotel, good food and drink, great stay. Highly recommend this place.

There is so much to like about The Hollander. Sraff, bar, funky ambience with a 60's charm. The Rooms are comfortable and an easy walk to restaurants etc. Highly recommend

Location was excellent. The only thing that was bothersome was the smell of mold coming from the AC. There was also no way to control the AC unit and it was very cold in the bedroom. The floor in the tub was wobbly like it had water inside of it, kinda bizarre. Bar and restaurant were excellent.
