A nice spot if you are hoping to stay in downtown St. Louis. The whole process was straightforward; I was allowed to do my own thing and enjoy my own space. The free breakfast is always a bonus.

My son and I checked in for one night to go to the Shinedown concert at the Enterprise center. It's a little tough to get to because of construction and they need more valet attendant's. It's a beautiful hotel.

Parking is valet only which is not clear when booking hotel. Hotel is not in a good area downtown and has lots of security. Room was nice but would not stay at this hotel again.

The staff was great, but probably won’t stay again

Once we got to our final room, our stay was totally fine. However, we waited in line for awhile while the staff waited on other customers ahead of us. While in line, one guest went to the front counter 3 times - each time was because the room they sent him to was not clean and ready. Finally, his 3rd time down, he refused to stay at the hotel. Meanwhile, another guest who had just checked in also came back down and said her room didn’t have any sheets or blankets on the bed. We were worried at this point but were in a rush to get to ballpark village. The 1st room we were sent to was dirty, with all the blankets on the floor, wet floors, etc. We went to the front counter and requested a different room. That room was ok. Parking was a little over $57 and I did not feel safe walking outside the hotel. The homelessness is terrible in that area.

Excellent service

The front desk, valet, housekeeping, and security were all amazing! We travel quite a bit and the service from this staff was by far friendlier, more helpful, and genuine than any we have ever been too. I would definitely stay here again because of the people!

Maintenance is completely missing!

The hotel is not being maintained. This was my second stay within one week. Last week I had no cords for the curtains. This week: no curtain cords, impossible to slide barn door at the bathroom, impossible to switch the shower from the fixed shower to the handheld, inconsistent door lock that someone's closes and sometimes doesn't. Also was supposed to receive a call from management about my complaint; however no one has called me. The TRU hotel is falling apart.
