The bed and pillows were comfortable but not happy with the room or hotel. It was very dark, could hardly see our clothes even with all the lights on. The safe was in a closet with absolutely no lights so I couldn’t see how to open it or what was in it. The air conditioner when it went on had a loud grinding noise that kept waking me and my husband up. They try to make you happy by giving you a cookie and bottle of water at check in. But the next morning my husband went down for a cup of coffee and they said they have to charge us for that. Are you kidding. I’ve never stayed in a hotel before where a coffee in the morning was free. Doesn’t make sense that an inexpensive cup of coffee that is usually a given they cant include.

Overall the property was fine, but I was in a handicap accessible room due to recent surgery. The room had a shower chair, which was great, but the shower sprayer was at the top and I could not bring it down while sitting. In addition, all of the shampoo, conditioner, etc, could not be reached when sitting. The parking cost extra and the garage was not closeby. For someone with mobility issues, I had to park, walk around to the front of the hotel and then all the way across the lobby to get to the elevators. Not well designed with handicapped in mind. My bed had a support bad sticking out the bottom which I wacked my leg on several times. Also, for being handcapped accessible, the beds were way too high. There was no button on the phone to reach the front desk directly and I had to call out to the main line to have questions answered.

good hotel if you need to be in the area. I had trouble with the next door parking garage, I was at a concert and when I returned around 11pm almost no spots to be found. The spots are narrow and the turning radius is also, like older garages. I believe they offer valet also. If I were not to return, besides not liking downtown St. Louis, It would be the garage. I had no trouble with my room, which was very clean and the staff, who were very gracious and kind. I did not try the buffet.

A warm oatmeal chocolate chip cookie upon check-in (Nice touch!), room was clean and QUIET, once I was in the room, the management inquired with me to see if I needed anything. I appreciated everything as my stay was for medical reasons at Barnes Jewish Hospital next door. Will be staying here for my future appointments.

Disappointed hospital associated stay

Hotel very dated. Ceiling water soaked and patched in bathroom. Was not to standards of a Hilton associated hotel. Was not worth the money to stay there. Staff was indifferent to where you were there or not.

The staff was impeccable. Clean rooms, soft pillow, great bed, clean. Then petty was the front desk supervisor and she was awesome. She text me every day asking how I stay was and if I had a question, she would answer it. Love the cookies!

The facility was clean, nice and comfortable. They had forgotten to give us a shower curtain but they got one right up once notified...i did have to put it on myself though. Bed was good. Staff was nice.
