The location was perfect for what we were looking for. It was within walking distance of several things to do, including the arch. The hotel itself was quiet and offered options where you could eat at as well as Starbucks inside the hotel, which was a perfect substitute to a $25 breakfast.

Check in was good the room look clean until the kids found a bottle of cologne under the bed and then we found a bottle of rubbing alcohol under the other bed. The bathtub had dirty foot marks

Stayed at the Hyatt for a work Conference. Asked for a room not facing roof top units, something with a better view. Gave me an upgrade on the room, for a hefty daily fee of course. My room was huge and faced the Gateway Arch. BEAUTIFUL view. However, the bed was lumpy and creaky. As I was tucked in for the night, looking up, I noticed black mold on the 3 air vents along the ceiling. I asked if maintenance could come clean it up, but no one showed the 4 days I was there. Other than that, my stay was great!

The location of the property was nice being so close to the Arch and being downtown. However, the double beds were awful and were extremely noisy every time you moved around and just way too small of beds to sleep in. We were able to check in early but had to upgrade our room to do so and that was $25 extra per night. Once we got to our room we heard a dog barking in another room for a while. Then we decided to order lunch but the app to order online wasnt working for the restaurant we wanted so chose another one called Brewhouse. I chose room delivery, paid a tip and put our room number in but it never got delivered, my husband had to go pick it up. We got woke up by loud people next store in the middle of the night and then the hotel alarm went off at 8am. To top it off, I didn’t appreciate the $50/day valet you’re forced to pay for parking on the weekends. Overall, not a great stay. I gave it two starts due to the location being nice.

Overall the property was adequate. It was very close to the St. Louis Arch and a short walk to Busch Stadium. The main issues for the less than stellar rating was the bed linens. There were only a sheet an an extremely thin blanket, no comforter, which made uncomfortable staying warm at night. Also had breakfast there, we ordered off the menu rather than have the breakfast buffet. The Avocado Toast left a lot to be desired as it didn’t have avocado slices on it but a very lacking guacamole spread. My breakfast was also marginal as the scrambled eggs were bland and runny, the bacon was way overcooked and the potatoes were a couple small boiled whole potatoes that had just been smashed and very lightly fried on each side. Very disappointing. Definitely would not eat there again.

We stayed for 2 nights over Memorial Day weekend. Hotel was nice, staff were friendly. Room was beautiful, and the view of the arch was awesome! Not having a microwave in the room was a bit disappointing. Only downside was the parking. It says on the website parking $40 a day (non-valet), however when we got there, they said their parking garage is only for valet. We had to walk quite a distance with all of our bags from the parking garage to the hotel. Felt secure knowing you have to scan your key on the elevator to access your floor, appreciated that feature. Ruth & Chris Steak house was phenomenal, our waiter was patient and friendly.

The staff was kind, very friendly. Hotel and rooms were all clean. Loved the view and walking distance to the arch. One working elevator for the 16th floor really does make the difference between a 5 star review and not. 15 minute wait for an elevator that would even remotley accomadate our party of 4 to fit in to go to the lobby really did make a bad start to the morning.
