Took all day to clean our room and it was still dirty and we were miss sold of the type of room we got. I got confused because it felt like a care home.
Desperate need of a refurb the floor boards creek in other rooms which keep you awake. The shower cubicle is small Karen Carpenter would struggle to get in
Single ensuite room was great: big and comfortable. Had a nice surprise to get a sea view which wasn't expecting. Bathroom needed an update but did the job. Window difficult to close as so high up.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Our room was a little bit dirty when we went in, so we asked for it to be cleaned again, but they sort of just made the bed and emptied the bin.
The chair had hair and crumbs on it, some of the pillows were stained and the fake flowers on the table had really gross water in it.
The view from the room was great, but the window was covered in bird poo, the car park is convient and its really close to the beach and town centre.
Overall i liked the hotel, i would stay there again, if nothing else was available.
The hotel entrance and room was awful. I wouldn’t leave my dog in the room. The walls were battered and the carpet was dirty and worn in many places. It was cramped.
The pictures online do not truly reflect the poor state of the hotel. Shame as it is in a good location but needs complete renovation. We could not stay there and asked for our money back which they did oblige.
Room was small, bed uncomfortable and bathroom was filthy dirty

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Very dated and grubby
When I got there to check in the was 2 people from other rooms complaining about the condition of their rooms.
Hotel room was clean enough (i.e shower/bed) but very dated, and run down, dirty walls, carpets etc all around the whole hotel.
Breakfast was ok

Hotel looks like an ex hospital, but for night stay it's okay.
location is very good, but that was the only good part.
The rooms, stairways are damp, and a terrible smell of dampness everywhere. The room had a terrible patch of dampness, carpets are extremely dirty .
I avoid looking for perfection in my chosen place of stay, but the hygiene level in this hotel forces me to write the truth here unfortunately
The room wasn’t clean . To find parking was impossible and the answer was ( to park 10min away)
The breakfast was absolutely terrible the scrambled eggs were not horrible and the options on everything else was limited . The wifi signal was good
And the breakfast staff was rude

hotel in good location, the hotel is very run down and needs renovation. Bedrooms are small, we had a superior room so a bit bigger than average, but still needs updating. Breakfast was limited choice, no pastries offered.
There is no car park for this hotel. We were told ‘ you have to park to come to reception and we will explain where you can park’. On the sea front so we could hear the waves all night, that was nice. Shower was over bath and very poor.
Very disappointing! A bland basic room with ugly curtains & the handle missing off the window so it would not close securely. We were on the top floor that looked old & dirty. Up 2 steep stair cases & there was no lift. My mum is 75 & it was a real struggle for her coming & going. We wouldn’t return or recommend this hotel as it is over priced for how basic it is.
A traditional English seaside hotel with nice ocean views above the town to St Ives (just a short walk downhill). The room was small and neat. Breakfast was also traditonal English.
