Fresh & clean

CLEAN, very well maintained! I prefer a soft mattress so the mattress was way too hard for me. I wish all hotels offered options of rooms with harder or softer mattresses.

Not so great.

The room was clean and my bed was comfortable, but this is an old, dated property. The air conditioner was so loud it woke me up even though I was wearing earplugs. The walls are thin so it’s just pretty noisy in general. My room was a little dark and musty. The TV did not work. The shower had hair conditioner but no shampoo. The breakfast is very basic and served in the office with nowhere to sit so you have to take it back to your room which in my case was dark and musty. I asked someone at the front desk to fix the tv and they said they would but they did not. I would not stay here ever again.

A sweet little hotel that was clean, had all the amenities, simple and affordable. It sits on the edge of St Ignace, an amazing little coastal town in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Next to it is a charming bakery/diner called Wild Blueberry. Excellent food and reasonable prices.

Do not believe good reviews.

We had two rooms for two nights. One of the rooms was so tiny with just a queen size bed you had to walk sidewise on one side of the bed to get in. One of the rooms had no hot water. We asked about the hot water at the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do about it. We asked for a partial credit on the room and they said no. The pictures on the website are very misleading and the very good reviews must be posted by people that have not stayed there.
